New Transfer And New Companion

WEEK 22:

I just finished at the trampoline park and am barely able to walk. In this disabled position, I will give you a brief overview of my week.

New transfer, new area, new companion. I'm serving in Jilong. Taiwanese people spell it Keelung. They pronounce it Qilong. Confused? So am I. Traveling to Jilong was scary because I wasn't able to read any of the signs. I got on a train to Keelung, which I soon found out was the wrong train I was supposed to take, and was scared I was going the wrong way. Once I arrived I scrambled around looking for free wifi (no service on my phone) so I could text my companion. I survived. Then a random stranger helped me find the north station where I meet my new companion, Elder Cline.

I'm in a four man apartment, rare to see in Taiwan. The apartment is OK. I forgot to take pics of inside the house, but here are a couple pics of the buildings right outside. Not the cleanest or nicest place I've ever been to.

Its very rainy here. So that will be fun. I don't know much else about jilong, but I've heard that this is were missionaries have funny experiences. It was weird saying goodbye to my friends in ankang.

Here are some random pics:

One of them we are at a birthday/FHE. We sang some songs.

The other is a hot pot 吃到飽。I ate so much!

Until next week
