A Moment of Fame

WEEK 53:

How I became famous in Taiwan began with the parade that I was able to participate in. The parade wasn't in our area, but over 20 missionaries were at the parade and even the mission president showed up. Many members were there and the float they made was also on the news. It was fun being able to dance and lead our group for a while. My dancing moved many emotionally. It went something like this: I danced, the spectators questioned there eyes, I was a sight that they weren't able to look away from. Thanks Trever and Alan for perfecting my dance moves to the max. Nobody in Taiwan will forget.

This week out mission president has urged us to have shorter lessons and a stronger spirit present. We had a 15 minute lesson with Peggy, who has a baptismal date. We shared the importance of church, prayer, and the scriptures in a short and powerful 15 minute lesson.

We are also trying to work with the ward to do more missionary work. Recently we have had 1 activity, a movie night watching meet the Mormons. A whole 5 members showed up and an investigator. But sucsess rarely follows the first attempt. We are still working to have good relationships with the members.

We were also able to go to a nice restaurant today with a member outside our Area. I ordered duck noodles and he ordered squid pasta with ink? Haha not quite sure why the noodles are black.
