A new transfer has begun and currently I am serving in Zhongli with Elder Kirkman, a missionary I lived with in Jeelong. We were companions for a couple weeks before I was transferred to Luzhou. We are both exited to be working together.

This week was filled with warm welcomes from the ward. The members are kind and very supportive of missionaries, especially making sure we are fed. I have only been in Zhongli for a couple days and have had three dinner appointments to introduce myself. The ward has many active members and was surprised when most of them were greeting me in English. The wards' overall English ability is very high, which will help a lot with improving my Chinese and English.
The new apartment is nice, this one particularly having more quirks then the others. In the past, this was a four missionary apartment, but due to the downsizing of the mission, there is only one companionship. It's fairly big and has two bathrooms, mine having a broken toilet that won't flush without precise precision and a shower. The shower head falls of when the water is turned on and strictly has 2 settings, boiling hot or bone chilling cold. No in-between. I have burns and frostbite. I now use the bathroom quicker then ever.
We were also able to go the fireside and meet with members from past areas. It's always a super fun and spiritual reunion. We then took the train back and found out that my bike was stolen and I had to walk home. Maybe I should lock my bike next time. Yes.
